Macallan M

Macallan M was created from the distillery’s seven select whiskeys, distilled between 1940 and 1990 and aged in old sherry casks. Another fact in the high price is the carafe that holds the whisky. There are currently only four of this 6-lt carafe worldwide. 17 designers worked 50 hours on each of the carafes. Two of the vessels are in The Macallan’s archives, the third in a private collection and the fourth, auctioned a few years ago, is now in Asia.

The Macallan M tastes of dry fruit, raisins and has a full-bodied finish ,at least that’s what the official tasting notes say. Because this whiskey will probably not be drunk, as together with the glass carafe it forms a collector’s item with pleasure that should not be destroyed.
